The Home Ribbon tab is shown below.

New

Creates a new project. If the current project or part has been modified but not saved then you will be prompted to save the current project or part.

This will create a new part using the Part Wizard.

Open

Open an existing AutoTRAX EDA ( release 9 or earlier ) design. This will open both the schematic and PCB and integrate them both into a single project.

This will open an existing DEX project.

Open an existing part.

File

This will close the current project.

Save the current project.

Save the current project to a different file name,

Sheet

Add a new schematic sheet to the top level of the project. A viewport will also be added to display the new sheet.

Add a new text multi-page sheet to the top level of the project. A viewport will also be added to display the new text document.

Delete the schematic or text document current sheet. The PCB sheet cannot be deleted.

Print

Print the current sheet. The Print Preview window will be displayed.

Exit

Exit DEX. This will prompt you to save any modified projects before exiting DEX.

Help

This will display the Software License Dialog so you can add, remove or modify your DEX software license.

This will display the Kovac Software web site in your browser.

Here you can display the DEX user groups home page in your browser.

DEX has a newsletter that you can subscribe/unsubscribe to. This will display the DEX newsletter web page in your browser.
