DEX does NOT use the Windows registry. The Windows has long been the source of confusion and installation problems.

 

DEX installs to the following directory by default... (You can change it on initial install.

 

C:\Program Files\Kovac Software\DEX

 

 

In addition it install the libraries it uses to the following directory...

C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Kovac Software\DEX\Library

 

Where XXX is your user name.

You can change it using the Settings Panel.

 

Setting for DEX are stored in...

         C:/Users/XXX/AppData/Local/Kovac Software/DEX/1.02

 

Where XXX is your user name.
